What does same-day dentistry involve?

Same-day dentistry services begin with an oral exam and a review of your medical history. Dr. Gazu may order X-rays to determine the health of your gums and teeth and assess the damage or decay in more detail. She then takes digital impressions of your teeth and their supporting structures and uploads the scans to a special program.

Dr. Gazu then designs your custom restorations to fit the unique size, color, and shape of your teeth. After approving the design, she transfers it to a milling machine, which creates your restorations. While you wait, you can read a book, take a nap, or scroll through your phone.

Once the machine fabricates your crowns or bridges, Dr. Gazu then places it over your teeth and bonds them in place with dental cement. She accesses your bite, polishes your teeth, and then sends you home with care instructions.
